Why Catatku was built
Most people stop tracking their money not out of laziness but because the tool is complicated and time-consuming. Catatku was built to make the process effortless: recording a transaction takes a few seconds, can happen through a WhatsApp chat, and reports assemble automatically.
Catatku has been developed by PT Tokokoding Ilmu Digital in Makassar, Indonesia since 2025, and is now used by more than 25,000 registered accounts on Android and iOS. As of August 2026, more than 260,000 transactions have been recorded with Catatku.
The principle has not moved: your data is yours. Your financial data is stored locally on your device, the app runs fully offline, there are no ads, and upgrades are paid once instead of an auto-renewing subscription.
Who is behind Catatku
Catatku is built by Indra Rahmana Hedar, a Full Stack Developer with more than nine years of experience building web and mobile applications.
The app was originally created for his own daily use to manage personal and business finances. All guide articles on this site are also written based on real-world practices applied day to day in Catatku.
Every figure on this site is real data from the app, not decoration. It is always updated whenever something changes.
