Common questions

Is Catatku free?

Yes, forever, with no ads, unlimited transactions. The Premium and Pro accounts are only there if you need more.

What is the difference between the Premium and Pro accounts?

The Premium account removes every count limit except bookkeeping, and unlocks full history, category management, cloud backup, attachments and the biometric lock, on one device. The Pro account adds unlimited separate books and real-time sync across 5 devices, active for life.

Is my data safe?

All your data stays on your device. Not signed in, or on the Free account? Nothing ever leaves the device. Signed in on the Premium or Pro account? You can turn off automatic backup to keep your data on-device only (real-time sync then stops working, since it depends on automatic backup being on).

Is there a web or desktop app?

Not yet. Catatku is only officially available for Android and iOS.

Can I share my account with someone else (multi-user) and set their access permissions?

No, it cannot. Catatku has no feature for sharing an account or setting other users’ permissions. To use it on another device, just sign in with the same email.
